I presented an oral talk at the TMS 2024 Annual Meeting & Exhibition, held in Orlando, Florida, USA, 3–7 March 2024.

Talk title: "Modelling the spatial evolution of vacancies across grains in multicomponent aluminium alloys."

This talk presented a continuum-level model for the spatial redistribution of excess vacancies generated during quenching, tracking their evolution across grain boundaries and into grain interiors. The model predicts vacancy concentration profiles that directly govern the subsequent age-hardening kinetics and the heterogeneity of precipitation in multicomponent Al alloys.
